Tahir Hussain is a well-known politician in India. He is an active member of the Aam Aadmi Party and also the councilor of the East Nehru Vihar area of Delhi, India. He made the headlines when he was suspended from the party for being involved in the Delhi riot case 2020.

Born in 1977, Tahir Hussain’s age is 43 years as of 2020. He was born and brought up in a middle-class family in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his early schooling from a private school in his hometown and after that, he completed his graduate course from a private college in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Tahir Hussain belongs to a middle-class Muslim family in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. He follows the Islam religion and holds an Indian nationality. His father’s name is Kallan Khan who was a blacksmith by profession and his mother is a homemaker. He spent most of his childhood in Uttar Pradesh, India, and after that, he moved to Delhi, India with his family.

Tahir Hussain started his career as a blacksmith and joined his father’s business after completing his required educational qualifications. After some time he moved to Delhi, India, and started working there. He established a new business of small gifts and furniture made of wood and with his hard work within some time he became successful in his business.
Along with his business, he actively takes part in politics and joined the Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal. He became successful and popular within his area with the support from his community.
In 2015, he won the Assembly election and became a part of AAP’s Municipal Corporation and served as a councilor from the East Nehru Nagar area of Delhi, India. He also helped the Aam Aadmi Party in 2020 assembly elections in Delhi to gain the majority of votes and support from the Muslim community.
Controversies
Tahir Hussain was involved in many controversies, as he was accused of being the mastermind behind the Delhi riots in 2020. Investigation team finds many witnesses against him that he was involved in the riots and the murder case of Intelligence Beurue Assistant officer Ankit Sharma. It was found that he plotted the death of an IB officer with the help of the mob during the riots erupted in Delhi, India in February 2020.
The incident took place at the Chand Bagh area in Delhi, India. Before that, there was no criminal case filed against him. Later on, it was found that Ankit Sharma was attacked by knife and an FIR was registered against Tahir by Ankit’s father.
After that many politicians came in support of Ankit’s family and alleged Tahir Hussain of killing Ankit Sharma. They also stated that Tahir was in touch with AAP’s president and Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
In return, Tahir Hussain released a video on his social media handles in which he rejected all the allegations against him and also added that a mob broke into his house and climb on the roof to carry out the violence held in Delhi, India.

Tahir Hussain worked in many fields like garbage collection, free medical services, and preparation of booths and stands. He worked with well-known firms like Samsung and ITC and also got the contract of booths and stands by the Delhi government during the Commonwealth games 2010.
Recently, he was suspended from the party for being involved in Delhi riots and also for being accused in the death of the IB officer Ankit Sharma.
