She gets her training from Sonam’s Health Club under the guidance of her coach Johnny Mehendele, It was her coach who suggested her to shift her interest from weightlifting to powerlifting. After that, she represented India at the World Powerlifting Championship held at Helsingborg in Sweden in November 2019 and won the bronze medal in the bench press event. Moreover, she failed to receive any medal in the overall lift category as she stood on the fourth position in this category.
She is the only Indian to receive a medal during the championship and made the whole country proud of her. Recently, she was selected in the famous TV reality show “MTV Roadies” in season 18 which premiered on the MTV channel on the 15th of February 2020. It was her debut appearance on the screen and she gained huge popularity and fan following after the show.
