Ridham Kalyan completed his primary education from his hometown Amritsar. He enrolled in Jagat Jyoti High School as well as Cambridge International School to complete his schooling.

Ridham Kalyan was passionate about his singing skills and music industry from a very young age.
Considering his maternal uncle’s music passion, he decided to join the industry by learning music from a professional artist.
His uncle encouraged Ridham to follow his passion. He got training from Guru Om Prakash Thapar in Jalandhar. He learned classical music.
After completing the training, Kalyan applied for Voice of Punjab Chhota Champ show in 2014 that aired on the PTC Punjab Channel.
This Indian Idol season 11 contestant got selected in the auditions. Ridham made it to the finale and became one of the top finalists on the show. By this time, he became a popular singer in Punjab. He was appreciated for his brilliant talent and amazing voice.
A year later, Ridham participated in another show named ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champ season 6’. This reality singing show earned him popularity. He was known for his brilliant Sufi performances. He made his parents and Punjab proud by making it to the finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Kalyan’s singing passion never disappeared. He participated in another singing show ‘Rising Star season 2’. Ridham gave wonderful performances; however, he got eliminated soon.
His performance on Aaj Ibaadat surprised the judges and the Indian audience. Ridham got his first singing project with the song ‘Mahi’. The song earned a significant number of views and likes on YouTube.
In 2019, Kalyan auditioned for Indian Idol season 11. Fortunately, his voice surprised the judges. The judges selected him for the next round i.e. top 15 contestants.
