Richard Madden started his career by appearing in a movie at the mere age of 11. For the Royal Shakespeare Company’s December 2007–February 2008 production of Noughts & Crosses, Madden played Callum McGregor.
In 2009, he played Mark McNulty in Be Near Me, a “deft adaptation” of Andrew O’Hagan’s novel of the same name.
