Rekha Harris started her career as an actress in the South Indian film industry. In 1986, she made her acting debut with the Tamil-language film, “Kadalora Kavithaigal” starring Satyaraj, Raja and Janagaraj.
Her popular films include Punnagai Mannan, Kadalora Kavithaigal, Enga Ooru Pattukaran, Ramji Rao Speaking and Aey Auto.
Along with her filming career, she also made her appearance in the TV serials like “Neelakkurinju Veendum Pookunnu”, Kinar, PachakKallam, 3G Third Generation, Bangalore Days, and Kana Kaanum Kaalangal.
She also worked as a judge in TV reality shows, “Malayali Veetamma” and “Nakshathradeepangal”.
