She did her early schooling from Goodwill’s Girl School, Bangalore. After that, she enrolled herself at the University of Bangalore from where she completed her graduate course.

Ragini Dwivedi made the headlines when she was summoned by the Bangalore police for questioning in the drug abuse case. Reportedly, she and her close friend who is a government employee consume synthetic drugs in many high profile parties. This investigation has started when the Bangalore police have suspected an inter-state drug racket and arrested many drug peddlers during their investigation.
There were some revelations from these peddlers that these drugs were supplied to the celebrities of the film industry. After which the Central Crime Branch has summoned many Sandalwood celebrities for questioning. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce also stated that it will take strong action against any member of the film industry if found guilty in the case.
