Pooja Hegde participated in the Miss India Talented honor and won the title in 2009. In the same year, she appeared in Miss India 2009 competition, where she got eliminated in the first few rounds. Later, she participated in the Miss Universe competition and became the second runner-up. Pooja Hegde got her first break in the film industry through Mysskin’s film “Mugamoodi” in 2012. She worked alongside Jiiva and played the part of Shakthi in the movie. She played the role of a cute and fun-loving woman. She got selected for the role after she caught the attention of the director from her appearances in the beauty pageants.
Hegde wrote all the dialogues in English to memorize and understand them. Her native language is Tulu, which is a bit similar to Tamil. The film performed incredibly well during the opening. However, the fans asked Pooja to apologize to Samantha for the post.
