Nikita Tomar was a 21-year-old student from Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Haryana, India. She was shot dead outside her college last Monday when she was returning after her exam. She lost her life on 26 October 2020.
As per reports, the accused in this case continuously harassing the girl for a long time. He also threatened her to change her religion and marry him otherwise he will public her nude pictures and ruin her life.

Born on 15 January 1999, Nikita Tomar’s age was 21 years old as of 2020. She was born and brought up in a middle-class Hindu family from Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Haryana, India. She was an Indian by nationality and had faith in the Hinduism religion.
She did her schooling at a local school in Faridabad. After that, she enrolled herself at the Aggarwal College in Ballabgarh, Faridabad from where she was pursuing her graduation.

Nikita Tomar came into the limelight after the news of her death came out in the media. As per reports, she was harassed by a Muslim man Sajid who had introduced himself as Rahul a Hindu boy on 25 July 2020 and harasses Nikita but she didn’t inform her parents. On 11 August 2020, Nikita went to meet him where he allegedly offered her a soft drink in which he added some toxic substances by which Nikita felt dizziness and then he forcefully pushed him in his car and took some inappropriate pictures of her.
Since then he continuously blackmailed her to change her religion and marry him but Nikita refused to do the same. She also filed a complaint against him by the time she came to know that he was not a Hindu. Few days before police have registered an FIR against Sajeed aka Taufeeq for harassment and molestation. But later on, Nikita’s family dropped the case after a mutual settlement.
On 26 October 2020, when Nikita was coming home from his college, Sajeed reached his college and stopped her on her way home and then forced her to come in his car but Nikita refused and then suddenly Sajeed shot her and she lost her life on the spot.
As per reports, and CCTV footage it was found that Sajeed came with his friend to kidnap Nikita but failed to do so, and in a rage, he shot her dead. After the incident police reached the spot and Nikita’s family also protested against the Government and police officials and demanded an SIT probe and strict actions against the culprits as early as possible. For now, police officials and the Government assured the family that culprits will get strict punishment as early as possible as they are already under arrest.
