In 1982, Cage appeared to a minor role in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, this was his first debut. opposite Judge Reinhold and Sean Penn. This year he appeared in his uncle’s movie Rumble Fish and Peggy Sue Got Married.
In 1987, he appeared in the romantic-comedy film Moonstruck. In 1990, he starred in Wild at Heart movie by David Lynch. In 1999, he starred in the paramedic drama Bringing Out the Dead in Martin Scorsese.
In 2003, Cage appeared in a con artist with obsessive-compulsive disorder, crime film Matchstick Men, by Ridley Scott.
