Career
Kate had always heavy interest in music. So her family looked into this more seriously and they assisted her to create a demonstrative music tape to help her ease into the music career.
Whilst most of her demo tapes and more than 50 compositions were rejected by multiple record labels, one of her demos was discovered by David Gilmour. Gilmour worked as a guitarist in the popular English Rock Band of the 70s, Pink Floyd. The demo was redirected to him via a mutual friend of the Bush family, Ricky Hopper.
