Karan Tiwari made the headlines when news of his death came out in media on 12 August 2020. He committed suicide at his residence in Malad, Mumbai, India. As per reports, he was in depression as he was not able to make it through into the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League.
He told his friend that he was going to commit suicide as he didn’t get a chance to play in the IPL. His friend immediately informed his family but by then it was too late as he locked himself in a room and he was declared dead before reaching the hospital.
The Kurar police station has filed an accidental death case and suspected that he was suffering from depression over career issues as per their initial investigation report. We pray for the departed soul and strength to the family to cope up with the loss in these hard times.
