He began his career with theatre by being a part of two shows called Category B and six parties. He got a lot of attention from these plays and subsequently he was selected to star in a movie called Attack the Block.
This film was released in 2011 and that same year he was supposed to star in a series that was to be based on the life of Mike Tyson but unfortunately it never got made.
In the same year he was also a part of a movie called Junkhearts. Next year he was a part of a movie that was based on the no album called Half of a yellow Sun.
After that in 2015 he was a part of a movie called Star Wars: The Firce awakens. This movie got him a lot of critical acclaim and appreciation.
In 2017 he was a part of two high profile projects namely Detroit and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Prior to these movies, he had founded his own production house called Uperroom entertainment limited. Under his banner he produced a movie called Pacific Rim: Uprising.
