Dewan made her debut in Janet Jackson’s “Doesn’t Matter” clip in 2000, continued with “All for You” and the All for You Tour in 2001.
Partnering with Jackson benefited her professionally, enabling her to engage with a variety of other musicians later on and providing her with the expertise she needed to co-star in the dancing movie Step Up.
