The politician started his career at a very early age and joined the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi party in Maharashtra. He also participated in many social works and gained popularity among the people of his constituency Sangli Maharashtra.
After that, he joined Bhartiya Janta Party in 2019, and contested election against famous NCP leader Ajit Pawar from the Baramati constituency but lost the election by a fair margin.

Controversies
The politician found himself in a state of trouble when he called the NCP president Sharad Pawar as Maharashtra’s Corona Virus. After his foul comment on the senior leader, even his party sidelined him and distanced themselves from his comments.
He stated that the NCP president was doing politics for a long time and deliberately delayed the issue of reservation for the OBC’s community while being a part of the ruling government. He also added that Sharad Pawar had made false promises and hadn’t displayed any interest in resolving the long-pending issue.
After his comments on the NCP president, many senior leaders from the party brutally trolled him and suggested him to remain in his limits. Even his party leaders said that his comments are not appropriate and he should have some respect towards his senior leaders.
He also makes a big statement against Maharashtra’s chief minister Shri Uddhav Thackrey Ji stating that the ruling government has failed on every basis and fulfilling his community demands, he even threatened the chief minister that they will not allow the chief minister to perform the annual puja at Pandharpur on the occasion of Ekadashi.
