He began his acting career in 1996 while he was in University College London. He met his future band matesHe met his future band mates Johnny Buckland, Guy Barryman and Bill Champion while he was studying there. In 1996 they formed the band which was called Pectoralz but they changed the name to Starfish later.
In 1998 they got the name Coldplay from another band who didn’t need the name anymore. They released their debut album called Parachutes in 2000.
A song from the album called Yellow was recognised worldwide and it earned them a Grammy nomination as well. The Coldplay has released 8 studio albums till date.
