Brooke Shields started her career as a model. Shields began modeling at 11 months old in 1966. Francesco Scavullo shot her for Ivory Soap.
She continued to work as a successful child model under Eileen Ford’s management, who said in her Lifetime biography that she created a special area for Shields.
Shields worked with Woody Allen on the 1977 film Annie Hall, but her part was eliminated. Shields made her film debut as a child prostitute in 1978, at 12.
