Shweta Agarwal started her career as an actress in 2000 with her debut on the television screen with the Zee TV serial “Babul Ki Duwayen Leti Jaa” as Preeti. Later she replaced by Chandni Toor due to some unknown reason.
In 2001, she made her special appearance as a dancer in Falguni Pathak’s music video “Saawan Mein”.
After that, she made her appearance in television shows like “Shagun” (2001) and “Dekho Magar Pyaar Se” (2004).
