Trevante Rhodes has been an accomplisher ever since his childhood. He was a natural athlete who received an athletic scholarship to the University Of Texas due to his track and field sports excellence.
He was a member of the Texas Longhorns for four years between 2008 and 2012, and he used to compete for them as a sprinter. In 2009, his excellence led him to win a gold medal at the Pan American Junior Athletics Championships.
The event was held in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and Tobago, where he helped his team win the medal in a 4×100 meter relay race. He was known as a star athlete in his childhood, but he still decided to choose acting as a career option upon admission to the University Of Texas at Austin.
