Career
Einar’s career took a quantum leap after his first-ever solo single “Gucci / Duckar Popo” was streamed over a million times on the music platform Spotify. Einar then published his second single “Katten I trakten” which reached number one on the Swedish Singles Chart (Feb 2019).
Einar named his next song “Rör mig”and it rose till no. 3 spot in the Sverigetopplistan chart (May 2019) that too within a week.
Första klass, Nummer 1 and Welcome to Sweden were Einar’s three studio albums. The first two albums were launched in 2019, and the third would be published on May 15, 2020.
Welcome to Sweden rose to the number two spot in Swedish Albums Chart. Första klass and Nummer 1 both hit number one.
Awards
This rising star from Enskededalen won the huge accolade of New Artist of the Year in 2020 Grammies. He also grabbed the Hip Hop of the Year award from the same ceremony.

Death
On October 21st, 2021, the promising rapper was murdered by a gun wound. It was reported to have happened in Hammarby Sjostad, Stockholm and the time was evening. When reported by the Police, it was stated that he was murdered in an execution-style. The post mortem report points out that the distance of the shots was 4.9 ft (1.5 meters). The tragic shooting incident was supposed to be in the same row of gun violence in Sweden which started as early as 2010.
Some reports indicate that there might be hands of Yasin (rival rapper) and Varbynätverket behind this murder as Einar was about to give testimony in Svea hovrätt a week later regarding his kidnapping which involved the prior.
Controversies
Kidnapping
Einar was abducted in April 2020 in a plan orchestrated by direct competitor rapper Yasin and carried out by other members of the criminal group Vrbynätverket (Vrby network-gang). He was kept hostage for many hours at gunpoint, and his assailants snapped images of him and put them on social media.
They also snatched a Rolex watch valued at 302,000 SEK (US$30,000) and two gold chains estimated at 163,000 SEK (US$16,000). Yasin was later convicted of abduction and condemned to 10 months in jail.
Haval Khalil also a rapper, popular with the name Haval, was condemned to two and a half years in prison for his involvement in captivity and burglary. The crime, as well as the ensuing convictions of the offenders, drew worldwide attention. After his captivity, Einar was living amid death threats and adopting a disguised persona.
Narcotics Scandal
Einar was found guilty of minor drug offenses, assault, and driving without a license. He was detained in October 2021 following a stabbing. He also hung around with renowned felons.
