The social activist started her career as a telecom technician at BSNL and currently works as a social activist who fought many times for the rights of women.
In 2018 she posted her pictures on social media while covering her body with watermelons as a professor in Kozhikode stated that all women should cover their watermelons.
This offensive statement by the professor made her angry, so as an answer to his statement the activist posted such photos of herself on Facebook but lately the pictures were removed by the Facebook officials.

Recently she came into limelight when protestors in Kerala attacked her and her partner Kavitha Jakkal who is a journalist from Hyderabad when they tried to enter the Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala.
After that, both of them dressed themselves using body armor and helmets to protect themselves from the protestors. Moreover, her house was destroyed by the protestors.
This incident took place after the Supreme Court’s order of allowing women’s entry in the Ayyappa temple but the protestors neglected the orders and attacked these two women and stopped them before entering the temple when they are just 500 meters away from the temple’s entrance. Even police gave them protection from their side but the two courageous women also stood strong against the protestors.
Moreover, the 32-year-old social activist also participated in the Kiss of Love campaign in Kerala in 2014, she and her boyfriend shared their pictures while kissing each other on social media to protest against moral policing.
She also worked in an art film Eka which majorly focused on intersexuality and became the first movie of that kind and on that topic to be telecasted in India.
